In the beginning there was ... Configuration Management

Having worked in and after having seen many projects I gathered some knowledge on Java Projects ( but even though now I always consider there's much more to learn), so I finally have some time to start to share some knowledge with you on the matter. I will try to lay down the topics in a logical sequence, according to my current point of view. So to start I'll pick up configuration management, since this should be the starting point to every Java project (or any other language you may choose). It will be a kind of hands-on and I will use as much open source software as possible. I'll cite sources I have found along the way.
